Matt graduated from West Virginia University, majoring in graphic art with a special focus on photography and psychology.

A week before graduation, Matt was hired for a position as an in-house graphic artist within a twenty-five member marketing department at MeriStar Hotels & Resorts. At the time, MeriStar owned and managed over 256 resorts & hotels internationally. While at MeriStar he developed marketing material for each property along with the food & beverage outlets within them.

After 2 years in the hospitality arena, Matt set out to sharpen his skills in another industry. He was hired as an art director at Chico’s FAS, an upscale women’s retail corporation which operates over 1,000 specialty stores. At Chico’s he played an integral part in national ad campaigns and was responsible for point-of-purchase creative materials for all stores and outlets.

In early 2002 Matthew left the security of a salaried position with benefits to venture forth on his own. Boost Creative was successfully born!

Years later, Boost is still a thriving company that welcomes a broad range of new clients. Boost has had feature articles written about them in the News-Press success story column and the business spotlight section of CapeCoral.com

Matt’s specialty is brand identity and advertising concepts. He is actively involved in the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, serving on the board of directors and education committee. He also serves on the board of directors for the Gulf Coast Symphony. In 2013, he co-founded Taste of the Cape, which is a collaborative effort between both organizations.

Additionally, Matt was selected as one of Gulfshore Business Magazine’s top 40 under Forty business professionals. He was also recognized in 2015 as board member of the year for the Cape Coral Chamber. He currently resides in Cape Coral with his wife and four children.
